Pull force for one magnet is easy for magnet users to get a general idea of the magnet strength. In many cases they expect to get pull force without testing the actual magnet sample via the instrument.
Horizon Magnetics hereby prepare a simple calculator for you to calculate pull force conveniently. These calculations only work with "square loop" or "straight line" magnetic materials such as sintered Neodymium magnets, sintered Samarium Cobalt magnets, and Ferrite magnets. They should not be used for Alnico magnet. The calculated pull force values are based on 0mm air gap, magnet attracted on thick enough low-carbon steel, working at room temperature, and the magnet pulled out of the steel vertically, etc.

The result of pull force is calculated in theory and it might have some percentages of deviation from the actual testing data.
