It is made of high-quality steel with embedded strong Neodymium block magnets, which at the surface of the magnetic chamfer ensure fast and accurate placement of the steel triangle chamfer in steel formwork construction without slipping or sliding. The magnetic steel chamfer is isosceles right triangle shaped and can be delivered in several different sizes with magnets on single side, double sides or the hypotenuse along the full 100% length or just along 50% of the length.

How to Produce Magnetic Steel Chamfer:
1. Machine a steel chamfer from the steel and the plain surface should be ensured during the machining process.
2. Machine a groove in the triangular steel chamfer and the size and depth of the groove should be controlled well.
3. Embed Neodymium magnets in the groove and seal it by glue.
4. Inspect many aspects of the magnetic chamfer including appearance, geometry size, magnetic force, magnet adhesion, etc.
Maintenance and Safety Precautions in Using Magnetic Steel Chamfer:
1. Place the magnetic steel triangle chamfer strip on the formworks gently so as to avoid embedded Neodymium magnets damaged by the sudden attracting.
2. Check and ensure the geometry and holding force of the magnetic chamfer in good condition, so as to avoid defects for expensive precast concrete wall panels.
3. After use, it should be kept clean and oiled so as to extend service time.
4. The max operating or storage temperature must be below 80℃, because higher temperature may cause the steel magnetic chamfer to reduce or totally lose magnetic force.
5. Wearing gloves to protect operators’ hands is highly recommended. Please keep it far away from electronic instruments and unnecessary ferromagnetic metals. Special caution should be exercised if someone is wearing a pacemaker.
