Similar to other types of Neodymium round base magnets, the external threaded pot magnet consists of a ferromagnetic casing or pot that houses a Neodymium disc magnet. The steel cup helps to avoid the collision of the Neodymium magnet in use, and to concentrate and direct the magnetic field to a specific face, known as the magnetic pole.

The threaded pot magnet is composed of permanent magnet, steel shell and gasket.

2. Steel shell: It is steel material and the production process has two types: stamping and turning. The price of stamping process is lower while the dimension precision of turning process is higher.
