This ferrule locator magnet can be inserted or embedded into a fixture or structure to provide magnetic attachment or fixing capabilities in the applications where a secure and reversible fixing method and rotational movement or alignment are required.

Structure of Precast Inserted Fixing Magnet:

The precast concrete inserted fixing magnet consists of a ring NdFeB (Neodymium-iron-boron) magnet, steel housing, and threaded rod. The steel housing protects Neodymium magnet from outside damage and concentrates the magnetic forces of the encased Neodymium ring magnet to the contacted surface only to generate much higher force than a separate Neodymium magnet. The tapered shape of the steel casing and the interchangeable threaded rod makes the insert magnet easy to release from the hardened concrete through the socket wrench.

NdFeB Magnet Production and In-house Fabricating Precast Inserted Fixing Magnets

General Fact about Precast Inserted Fixing Magnet:

1. Material: high-performance Neodymium magnet + steel housing + steel rod.

2. Coating: Magnet coated with NiCuNi or Zinc + steel housing coated with Zinc or Copper.

3. Option structure: Sometimes it can be produced like the sandwich with a ring NdFeB magnet covered by steel and sealed by black epoxy as a solid structure to protect the magnet surface from chipping and extend the working life of the whole precast inserted fixing magnet.

4. Size and force: Referring to Technical Data, and customized one available

Features of Precast Inserted Fixing Magnet:

1. Enough force: The force is strong enough to fix fixtures or precast parts tightly, because the Neodymium magnet is the most powerful permanent magnetic material currently, and the steel housing concentrates the magnetic lines to one face.

2. Easy to use: The compact size and conical shape of the steel housing with a threaded rod makes it easy to position, insert and remove the inserted fixing magnet without any difficulty.

3. Reusable and durable: The fixing via magnetic force allows the inserted socket magnet to work reusable. Our optimal design and magnet quality makes it work in long term

4. Cost effective: It shortens the labor time and then improves the production efficiency and cost.

Precast Inserted Fixing Magnets Improving Efficiency and Cost

Horizon Magnetics Precast Inserted Fixing Magnet Improves Quality of Precast Concrete Products and Operation Safety:

The embedded part is very common in precast concrete products. If the embedded component is not positioned accurately during the concrete casting or vibrating process, the lifting operation will be affected and then the quality of precast concrete elements and operation safety can't be ensured. Our precast inserted socket magnet is specially designed to solve this position problem. Precast inserted fixing magnets come in different shapes, sizes, and configurations to suit specific application needs. They may feature various mounting options such as countersunk holes, threaded inserts, or adhesive backing for easy installation onto different surfaces or structures. Because of the strong adhesive force from NdFeB (Neodymium-iron-boron) magnet, it is powerful and convenient enough to fasten embedded parts firmly without slipping. Simple solution makes work more efficient and cost effective.
